My Ticking Watch

I was visiting a friend of mine. I took the laptop with me because she wanted me to bring my CV and I didn't have the time to send it to her ... so I took the laptop :)

While there, I searched for my cv ... and I found so many "forgotten" Ms word documents ... one of them is saved under the name "The Watch Ticking". I looked at it trying to remember why I would call a document such a name.

My friend insisted that she wanted to read it. I agreed under the pressure of her nagging "I know you will read this ;)" ...
Now, to my surprise, I found out that I wrote it 2 years ago ... and it says that I had to buy a new watch bec mine was broken. And how, one night, I tried to read a book but couldn't bec of the ticking of my new watch ... and that I had to take it off ... put it on the desk ... but the sound was still bothering me ... so I had to put it inside the drawer.

I wrote that in more than 20 lines!!

We both were reading silently ... when we finished, we both looked at each other ... catching that look in her eyes ... I laughed with all my heart :)

She said: "For God's sakes Jumana ... why would anyone wirte such a thing" ...
I said "laughing" : " So people like you try to figure out why"


But really, it ia really annoying ... I mean the ticking of the watch ... don't you think? :)
